Budget Friendly Jewelry HAUL!

Hi beauties, today I have a jewelry haul to share with you all. Everything I purchased is from Gofavor.com and it was purchased with my own money. I heard about this website on youtube, I came across a few videos of vloggers who were sent acouple pieces for review. It sparked my interest and I went to the website. Everything is super affordable, so it sparked my interest right away. Today I'm going to show you each piece that I bought along with my opinion.

This necklace immediately caught my eye! OWL! I am obsessed with Owls :D This one was only only $.99 so it was an amazing deal. I have seen something similar to this at the mall, but those were around $10 and yes, that is too much for me to pay ahahaha, I can be a cheapskate at times, I admit. I really like this quality of this piece. Link to it: http://www.gofavor.com/vintage-owl-pendant-long-chain-necklace.html

I can't seem to find this one on the website anymore, but I know for a fact that it was less than $5. I knew I had to have it when I saw it. It's just too cute! I thought the chain would be metal, but to my surprise it's actually some kind of plastic material. I'm not sure how durable this one will be but I love it nonetheless.

This one was $4.99 and again, I got it because of the owl in the center. I love charm necklaces, this one has an owl, a bow, a flower and a little ball. The chain is the same material as the bird necklace.

This lovely flower statement bracelet was only $2.99! I have no complaints, it's a beautiful piece.

This is a super cute pearl charm bracelet. It has a heart, a star, and an anchor. This one was $3.99. When I saw this on the website I thought the charms would be metal and that it would be quite heavy. The charms are plastic and the bracelet is very lightweight, I think I like it this way much much better. I cannot stand anything heavy on my wrist.

This set comes with ten pieces and it's $4.99. All of them do look very cute together but I would never wear all of them at a time unless I wanted to annoy myself and everyone around me. I like to wear the pieces separately.

This is a boho style wrap around bracelet and this was $2.39. I love it! I featured this one in my latest OOTD video, go check it out!

This are Vintage Hollowed-out Waterdrop Stud Earrings for $2.99. I wanted them in black because they look more polished in my opinion, but they sent them in white. Oh well, no biggie, I still do like them.

More owls? YES! These are small owl stud earrings and I'm in love with them and have featured these on my instagram (@makeupwithcinthia). My only issue with the earrings is that they come with plastic backings, I'm sure those will be destroyed soon and I'll have to go buy different backings for them.

I want to briefly talk about shipping. I knew it would take quite some time because they do come all the way from China. It took me about 3 weeks and a half to get my package, I didn't mind too much to be honest. So if you plan on making an order please keep this in mind! Also, you get free shipping on orders over $15. Would I order from this website again? I think so, I love me some cute budget friendly jewelry and I don't mind the wait.

Thank you for reading <3

Glamour Doll Eyes "Summer girls" Collection!

On June 20, Glamour Doll eyes (glamourdolleyes.com) released a new limited edition collection for summer! This collection is called Summer Girls and all the pigments are named after a girl. This collection was $38 and it came with a cute makeup bag, a sample size glamour gloss, and a sample size of "foil me", which is a mixing medium used to foil pigments. I can't believe I got all of this for $38, what a great deal! Like I said, this is a limited edition collection while supplies last and from what I hear there are still some left!
Let's move onto the swatches:

Ariana, Mollie & Brooke

Crystal, Morgan, & Cora

I also ordered a full size tin of their "control freak" primer. I received a sample a while ago and I absolutely loved it! It makes the pigments stick and makes them look so bright and beautiful. This is the vegan version. Full size is $$10.75 sample size is $1.50

Exciting announcement!!

If you follow me on facebook you already know the news, if not, let me go ahead and tell you all about it! I'm a student a QC makeup academy and a few months ago they announced that they were having open casting call for someone to land the job of their youtube correspondent. Basically the choosen person would do tutorials, product reviews, and hauls on the schools channel. I applied for the job and to my surprise I was choosen! You can just imagine how excited I was. I basically get to work for my school doing something that I love. How can I not be happy about that?!
For my first video I was asked to introduce myself, talk about my future goals and how I like the school so far. Here it is, I would REALLY appreciate it if you left a comment on the video showing your support, it would mean so so much!

& not to worry, I will not be neglecting my main channel at all! I have a tutorial coming up on their channel - it's my go to look using a very affordable palette! so excited for you guys to see it (:

Too Faced Summer Eye palette (Tutorial & Swatches)

This tutorial was so much fun to put together. I already had the beach setup in my mind and went out to look for the things I needed - the sand, and the shells. I looked in wal-mart and a craft supply store and couldn't find any. Finally my husband said "hey, we should look in Dollar General" I said "The Dollar General wont have that!" we went inside to look and we found them! Wooo whoo! LOL (: Give the video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and subscribe if you haven't already.

Anyway, let's move onto the Too Faced Summer eye palette swatches!

sugar sand, plumeria, cocoa beach
peach fuzz, coral crush, chocolate sun
sunbeam, mermaid, toasted coconut
To keep this short I want to say that I LOVE this palette. My favorite shades are Coral crush (the picture does not do it justice), Plumeria, and Mermaid. The ones I do not like are Peach fuzz and Sunbeam (poor pigmentation). I think this is the perfect palette for the summer. My advice is to pat on the shadows when using them, instead of sweeping them on, this will keep fallout to a minumum. Yes, you will get some fall out because alot of the shadows have golden glitter in them.

Let me know what YOU think. <3

Flea market finds: $1 rings!

There's this place called Trader's Village, it's in Grand Prairie, Tx (about 40 minutes from where I live). It's basically a flea market and there's literally thousands of shops. My husband and I love to go there when it's nice and warm outside. But there's one little shop that I always have to visit, it's of course a "costume" or "fantasy" jewelry shop. Now, I don't like expensive jewelry. Diamods are a girls best friend? Eh, not mine. However, I do love me some cute, fake jewelry that adds a statement to any outfit. Today I'm going to show you a few rings that I bought the last time I went, and guess what?? They were only $1 each! I've seen similar rings being sold at the mall for around $8-10. Now this time I only bought rings because all the nice earings and other accessories were already sold out.

*I love owls!! I gave my son the nickname "little owlie" because of those big beautiful eyes he has. So whenever I see anything cute owl related, I must have it!*

That's all for now! Let me know if you like this type of blog posts. I know it's not makeup related but I wanted to venture into something else (: Hope you all have a wonderful day!
